| Users review: Like most guys never saw this movie on my own or with male friends. However, my girlfriend was in town and thought romantic comedy will make a great film for us to watch together.I had heard the reference to 9 / 11 made at the beginning of the film and feared having to sit through that part. However I was pleasantly surprised to see that the model was very small and not particularly shameful or so I'm not sure why so many people bother some much.As I quite enjoyed worldwide respect and certainly recommend a movie ideal data. Many of the reviews here despised the movie because they thought it was too simplistic and realistic about love. But I think you have to accept that the film was made to make people laugh and bring the spirit of love in the Christmas holiday period. If you watch the film in the context then does its job admirably well.However me the best moment of the film was the press conference (standing next to other) of the U.S. President and the British Prime Minister. In fact, I felt like standing up and applauding when Hugh Grant (Prime Minister) finally tells the U.S. president in the face and the front of the worlds press that Britain no longer kowtow wishes Americans but will have its own independent opinion. Given that the U.S. is the largest market for films by Richard Curtis was very brave to write this scene and deserves much credit for portraying U.S. president as quite disgusting and put in context that the `Special Relationship really is. Richard Curtis should know that the movie was good, but not great United States. But clean here in the UK and make sure well in the world too.So Bravo Richard Curtis to defend their principles, you are a hero! |

characters are falling in love, falling out of love, some are with right people, some are with the wrong people, some are looking to have affairs, some are in the period of mourning, the capsule summary of reality. Love begins and love ends. They flirt a lot. They are all flirting with love. At the age of all social levels, love is the theme. Romantic love and brotherly love is the catchall through the film. Most of the movie was filmed in London, during Christmas and the characters all ended up at Heathrow airport a very uplifting note.
