| Users review: Closed Circuit is good, but not exceptional thriller film. The film initially solid but weak edge, and somewhere in between losing and start working plodding along to its inevitable conclusion. The story itself is testing the limits of plausibility and has main characters that have not generated much heat and little empathy. The issue of government duplicity is treated in imaginative and create no sense of concern or outrage. However, the film does entertain by generating a certain level of tension, though softened. Issue cover story and adds an element of tension. There are heroes who make the final appearance. That certain scenes were set in a football game is unoriginal. Moreover, the alleged victim of a miscarriage of justice is hardly worthy of empathy and the same goes for the family, especially the son of fourteen belong to juvenile detention. The acting is cheesy, spectacular cinematography, the story twists and turns and predictable theme of the film confusing. However, this film should be careful because dramatize what happens when the truth is suppressed and transparency ruled in favor of secrecy. |
